history

The LAGLOBAL International Research Network was founded in 2016 in London with a major grant from the Leverhulme Trust.  From 2016-2020 the LAGLOBAL Hub was based at the Institute of Latin American Studies (ILAS), School of Advanced Study, University of London.  With the closure of ILAS in 2021, the Hub has relocated south to the Department of Anthropology, History and Humanities at FLACSO-Ecuador, in Quito.
